I was reading a book last night about God vs. Socialism. Not a bad read. There was a chapter talking about how some have liberalized the Bible by only focusing on the “red letters” of Christ and then further distorting them. The author was speaking of Tony Campolo in particular. Got me thinking. You know there are way to many “christians” who say only the New Testament matters. They will give you reasons and bend the truth and take scripture out of context to try and prove their point. Most of these wont even attempt to come close to believing that Genesis is an actual histrorical account. Rambling I know. The whole creation versus…everything else debate is another great topic. However Jesus tells us himself that it is in fact true and that Moses was in fact accurate in Genesis. Two verses say it all. John 5:46-47. Look it up. Jesus tells you that if you do not believe what Moses is saying….then how on earth can you believe what He is saying? Read it, think about it. You cant pick and choose what you want to believe. You have to take it in its entirety.
